Why Become a Fellow
  The Boston Medical Library(BML) is a physicians' organization and consists of Fellows and Life Fellows. Completed applications are submitted to the Boston Medical Library where they are reviewed by the Membership Committee. The Membership Committee looks for documentation of one of the following criteria:

Evidence of M.D. Degree from a medical school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (this includes American and Canadian medical schools),


Valid state medical license,


Massachusetts Medical Society card.

On average, it will take four weeks to review and process your application. Your membership materials will be sent by first class mail. If you have any questions, please call 617-432-4807. In person applications are accepted at the Boston Medical Library office, Room 431, 4th Floor, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The BML Annual Dues is currently $100.00 per calendar year (January 1st to December 31st).
